Aditya Kuwar lost his father at a young age. His single homeless mother does not work and thus is unable to provide proper food and shelter. Aditya, with his mother and two siblings, lived on one of the railway platforms in Mumbai. His elder brother, Ashish, goes to a Hindi medium school. Since Aditya had to look after his younger sister, Bajo, he did not attend school regularly. But after joining CORP, he enrolled in a Marathi-based school. However, the school’s academic quality was not satisfactory. To provide adequate supervision and learning opportunities, the Ra Foundation enrolled Aditya in 4th grade in Sweet Memories High School, Panchgani, through its Happy Days Program. Aditya continues to hone his academic and creative caliber. He excelled in his 10th standard, achieving an impressive 85% in his board exams. Currently, he is pursuing his junior college education in the Arts stream at St. Andrews College.
