Ashwini Khillare (2000) is a single-parent child and lives in Mumbai with her mother and two siblings. Her mother works as saleswoman trading garlic for plastic bags but this is not sufficient to support the family. Ashwini is bright and eager to learn, she just needed a chance to reveal her full potential and strength: in 2013 she joined the Happy Kids Program and was enrolled in Silverdale High School and has completed her schooling. She is now studying in SYBHsc. specializing in develpoment counselling.
Ashwini is a mature young girl, who understands the importance of doing her best, especially when opportunity knocks at the door. She aspires to excel in academics, especially arts, and enjoys reading and writing. Ashwini’s mother appreciates the commendable changes in her behaviour and feels proud of her educational achievements.
