Chandan Londe and his sister at the ages 9 and 7 were found begging on the street along with their grandmother. They were noticed by an Akanksha Foundation social worker. After meeting his uncle, grandmother, and Chandan’s interest in going back to school he was enrolled in Happy Kids Programme in 2016 and was enrolled in Sweet Memories High School, Panchgani in class 3. Besides studies, he showed his excellence in English essay writing, neat and clean handwriting, drawing, and spots and achieved certificates too. He completed his 10th standard at St. Xavier’s High School & Jr. College in Panchgani, where he not only excelled academically but also distinguished himself in football and volleyball, participating in numerous tournaments. With a dream of becoming a volleyball coach one day, he is passionate about the sport. He is currently enrolled in the 11th standard in the science stream at a college in Mumbai.
