Khaja Alfaz Shaikh

Khajaalfaz Shaikh, born in 2008, lives with his mother and two siblings. After his father left the family to marry another woman, Khaja’s mother had to take on long hours of work to support them, leaving the children to fend for themselves in a challenging environment marked by constant fights and abuse. Khaja, in particular, needed a more nurturing and supportive environment to reach his full potential. In 2017, Khaja joined the Happy Kids Program and was enrolled in Sweet Memories High School. However, due to personal reasons, he was transferred to a day school in Mumbai during his 9th standard to complete the remainder of his education. He is currently pursuing his 11th standard in the Arts stream at a college in Mumbai.
