Pariniti Jambotkar

Pariniti lives in a slum community with her mother and 3 elder sisters. Pariniti is in the 3^rd std and her sisters are studying in 9^th, 11^th &12^th Std. The father who was the only earning member died due to Covid, and the family of six who were dependent on him were in desperate need of help. The mother took up domestic work to support the family. While the mother is away, Pariniti is often left outside the home or in a neighbor's house and the influence of the community is detrimental to her. Her eldest sister has also started taking tuition to support the family and keeps busy with college. While she lost her father, her mother is too busy trying to make ends meet, and Pariniti is left with no one to pay attention to her studies or her other needs. She is enrolled in Viraj Shri Ram Centennial School in Boisar, through the Happy Kids program.
