Isha Waghela, born in 2003, grew up as a single-parent child after losing her father at a young age. She lives with her mother, who works as a helper in the BMC and as a housemaid, and her elder brother. They share their home with their maternal uncle’s family and his two children. Before joining Ra's Happy Kids Program, Isha’s daily routine was filled with responsibilities—waking up early to complete household chores, attending school, and then returning home to care for her younger cousins and manage the household. In June 2014, Isha was enrolled in Sweet Memories High School, Panchgani, where she completed her schooling. She later achieved her HSC with 67.50% and went on to complete a one-year Early Education Teacher training course from a reputed institution in Mumbai. This training marked the beginning of her professional journey, first as a teaching assistant at an Aseema-supported school and now as an Early Childhood Educator at Klay, Mumbai. Her family and neighbors take great pride in Isha’s sense of responsibility and maturity beyond her years. Isha speaks fondly of her journey with Ra, embodying a generous and altruistic spirit. She remains a strong supporter of Ra, always willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed.
